Bicheno By The Bay Hotel

The cottage was clean, well-furnished, and provided amazing ocean views. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to the beautiful coast, just a short walk away from local eateries.

Wi-Fi connectivity was limited.

generally excellent service with parking outside. very responsive and responsive staff, free laundry facilities and ironing. location close to forest/national park and sports/leisure, centre of town and the bay-highly recommended.

We had a very peaceful stay for longer than one night.

The location was comfy and peaceful, just 5 minutes walk from Whalers Lookout Park. Booked a room with world class views of the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and we had an electric kettle, a fridge and kitchenware👌🙂

This accommodation was in the very central location in the area before.

Their staff were relaxed.

We stayed in the new motel rooms which were fantastic. The staff were also very friendly and personable.

Fine views from the balcony enhanced our stay.

Some catering but not much. I was surprised that they have you leave the dishes clean for the next occupant.... made me look much closer at kitchen. It's fairly pricey.

We think it was possibly the best we stayed in in Tassie , in the top 2 for location , and value for money was very good

Absolutely loved the covered sundeck with fine lake views and the close proximity to the Lobster Shack. The room had a luxury vibe with modern touches and comfy amenities. Our early morning beach walks were a highlight!

The front office (reception) closed at 6pm, but I arrive at 6.30pm (already dark because of end autumn), I can get my room key and room location plan in an envelop stick on the glass door. Easily access to surrounding attraction with a few access road out from the hotel. Bicheno blowhole just a 10 min. walk and to restaurant. The room is big and clean. Ensuite bathroom also very big and clean. Good stay if families with children and parking not a problem.

WiFi connectivity issues, slow draining sinks and bathtubs, and sudden cold water during showers posed significant inconveniences. The interior decor felt basic and spartan. The furniture was in desperate need of a good clean. The driveway presented challenges for easy access.

The location was great, close to township and to beach and local sights. There were things to do for the kids like the pool, canoe lake, tennis and a playground.

The roomwe had could do with a bit of upgrading like the mattress,TV, bathroom and Kitchen. They were clean but old. A few BBQ's around the grounds would be helpful especially in summer.
